Cazamic

Cazamic is a bespoke ceramic studio based in Oakengates, Telford, operated by Shropshire artist Carolyn Clayton. Drawing on extensive experience demonstrating traditional bone china flower making at the Coalport China Museum, Carolyn creates distinctive handmade ceramic flower sculptures and quirky pottery figurines known affectionately as "Flower People." Her creative portfolio encompasses surreal, nature-inspired artworks designed to foster a deeper connection to plants, animals, and the natural environment. Alongside fine art creations for individual collection, Cazamic delivers tailored commission work for high-profile clients, boutique hotels, and global brands, including bespoke installations for Macy’s, Harrods, and Royal Caribbean. Every physical sculpture reflects a deep background in clay artistry honed through dedicated study at TCAT and Wolverhampton University, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design principles.

Operating out of the purpose-built Hartshill Clay Resort studio nestled in a peaceful garden setting, Cazamic provides a welcoming space for artistic creation and hands-on instruction. Clients and students participate in structured pottery experiences and workshops where they can learn fundamental hand-building methods, specialized ceramic flower making, and wheel throwing skills directly from the resident artist. The studio offers fine art commissions for personalized gifts alongside an online shop for acquiring original sculptures. Each lesson and custom piece is handled with individual attention to detail, ensuring that visitors of all skill levels experience an educational and inspiring creative process. Cazamic operates standard studio hours from Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, serving art collectors, gift buyers, and pottery enthusiasts across Telford and the broader Shropshire area.
