Anderson Door and Window Mechanics Inc

Anderson Door and Window Mechanics Inc is a family-owned and operated specialty contractor headquartered in Tigard, Oregon, serving the greater Portland metropolitan area and Vancouver, Washington. Established in 1989, the company brings over three decades of hands-on expertise to residential and commercial properties facing door and window functional issues. Operating from their facility on Southwest 85th Avenue, their skilled technicians specialize in comprehensive repair, restoration, and replacement services across a wide spectrum of material types, including traditional wood, vinyl, aluminum, and fiberglass. A primary cornerstone of their specialization is historic wood window and door restoration, revitalizing aging architectural elements so they function and look like new. Additionally, the business services products from major industry manufacturers such as Pella, Andersen, Milgard, and Jeld-Wen, ensuring versatile support regardless of the original hardware or frame construction.

The business addresses the common structural challenges that arise as Pacific Northwest properties age, such as swelling, sagging, warping, and settling. Rather than defaulting to costly full replacements, their technicians prioritize functional tune-ups, hardware adjustments, and targeted frame repairs whenever viable. Their service delivery encompasses fixing ill-fitting damaged frames and replacing components including hinges, handles, door knobs, glass units, trim, weatherstripping, and bottom sweeps. By restoring structural integrity and draft resistance, they enhance overall security, operational smoothness, and energy efficiency for local homes and business facilities. Clients benefit from a systematic process that begins with direct initial inquiries and detailed project evaluations, delivering clear estimates for both simple part swaps and complex structural overhauls. Their long-standing operational presence across Oregon and Washington reflects a firm commitment to durable craftsmanship, reliable project management, and practical solutions.
